Held in the small town of La Tirana in northern Chile in July, this is one of the most important religious festivals in the country. It honors the Virgen del Carmen with a mix of indigenous and Catholic traditions, featuring colorful dances, elaborate costumes, and religious processions.

Celebrated on September 18th and 19th, these “National Holidays” commemorate Chile’s independence from Spain. The celebrations include traditional Chilean rodeos, folk dancing, parades, and barbecues (asados). It’s a time of national pride and festivities across the country.

This grape harvest festival is celebrated in various wine regions of Chile, typically in March. The most famous one takes place in the Maipo Valley. It includes grape stomping, wine tasting, traditional music, and dance, celebrating Chile’s renowned wine industry.
